Meet Jacalyn: Senior ICT Business Partner

I'm the Senior ICT Business Partner, leading the ICT Business Partnering team. My job is to act as a bridge between ICT and the business side and help to find and improve ICT services and products.

Our team strives to support council teams and staff to effectively use information and technology to achieve council’s goals. This helps council make informed decisions, streamline processes, and get the most out of their ICT investments.

In 2006 I started with the City of Adelaide. I worked in several roles over 15 years, predominantly as an ICT Business Analyst and later as ICT Business Partner. I then worked across private and state government, before returning to council at the City of Onkaparinga in 2021.

I love the variety of services and products we deliver at the council. Every day brings new requests and challenges, which has made me adaptable and a good communicator. Meeting new people every day and growing my business knowledge keeps me motivated.

In my role I see the strong link to how we support the community as we make sure community-facing staff have everything they need to serve residents and the community. That’s something I really take pride in.
