Turn your community idea into a reality with a grant from Onkaparinga council
A great idea can start with one person, but it often takes a little support to make it happen.
That's why the City of Onkaparinga is inviting local groups, organisations and individuals to apply for community grants that help create stronger, more connected neighbourhoods.
The grants support projects that bring people together, celebrate local culture, improve community wellbeing, protect the environment and encourage creativity and innovation.
Whether it's a new event, public art project, community program or environmental initiative, there us up to $10,000 in grant funding available to help ideas become reality.
Applicants can explore a range of grant opportunities designed to support projects of different sizes and community needs.
There are three annual grant categories to explore:
The annual grant round closes on 26 August 2026.
Successful projects have helped create welcoming public spaces, delivered inclusive activities and built stronger local connections across the region.
If you've been waiting for the right opportunity to get a community project off the ground, now is the perfect time to apply.
