Trucks on Tour returns to Morphett Vale

10 October 2025

The City of Onkaparinga invites families to climb aboard and explore vehicles at Trucks on Tour, back on at Wilfred Taylor Reserve.

Get ready for a truck-tacular day out as the City of Onkaparinga brings back Trucks on Tour, this Friday, 10 October 2025 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.

This free community event gives children and families the chance to climb into the driver’s seat, check out how vehicles work and see demonstrations in action.

Expect more than 40 vehicles of all kinds, including emergency services, council trucks, construction giants and a show-stopping 100-year-old truck.

South Australian Police, SA Power Networks and other essential agencies will be on hand to talk about how these machines help keep communities functioning.

Families can also enjoy roving entertainment, go karts, cultural walks along Kaurna Creek, food trucks, merchandise such as high-vis vests and an opportunity to set up your own picnic.

For those that need some down time, from 1:00 to 2:00 pm the event transforms into a sensory hour. During this time, horns, sirens and loud demonstrations are paused to make the environment more comfortable for families needing a quieter experience.

A sensory refuge and quiet activity zone will also be active during the entire event.

Don’t miss this lively, hands-on event that brings machinery, education and fun together - perfect for young car lovers and curious minds alike.
