Murray Bridge gears up for Pedal Prix finale

18 September 2025
Murray Bridge will again host the world’s biggest human-powered vehicle race at Sturt Reserve from 19-21 September 2025.

More than 100 teams from across Australia will descend on the riverfront for scrutineering and qualifying on Friday, school talent showcases on Saturday morning, and the main 24-hour event starting midday Saturday and finishing midday Sunday.

Spectators can enjoy a festival-like atmosphere with fast-paced racing, team pit action and family-friendly viewing zones. Local businesses at Sturt Reserve will open their doors, serving food, drinks and a chance to relax between the action.

Rural City of Murray Bridge Mayor Wayne Thorley said the Pedal Prix is a standout event for the city.

“This event brings together engineering excellence, sporting endurance, and community spirit in one spectacular weekend. Come along and join in with the roar of the crowd, cheer on the racers as they fly past with a warm Murray Bridge welcome or explore the town - there’s something for everyone here”, said Mayor Thorley.
