Give your clothes a second life and a second home this November
The Set Your Clothes Free event returns on Saturday 1 November, giving thousands of South Australians the chance to declutter responsibly and reduce textile waste.
Free clothing and linen recycling will be offered at 13 drop-off points across Adelaide and regional South Australia. From 9am to 3pm, residents can donate items in good condition and, in the process, feel great about having your old wares reused or recycled, instead of ending up in landfill.
Bring your unwanted textiles to Berri Senior Citizens Club on Draper Road to give them a second life in charity stores.
City of Burnside
Residents can bring their donations to the Burnside Civic Centre. Clothes and linens in good condition will be reused, while worn items will be recycled, helping keep valuable materials out of landfill.

Residents are invited to bring quality clothing and clean household linens to the Mount Gambier Waste Transfer Station. Reusable items will be sold through Lifeline SE stores to support vital local services and worn-out linens will also find new purpose through textile recycling.
Did you know each year, Australians buy an average of 53 items of clothing per person? However much of it ends up unworn and ultimately in landfill. Set Your Clothes Free helps change that mindset by keeping textiles in use for longer, reducing waste, and giving back to the community.
