Discover what’s on during Library and Information Week 2025
Running from 28 July to 3 August, Library and Information Week invites everyone to reflect on the power of reading and the importance of information access.
This year’s theme, To Read or Not To Read: Literacy Matters, highlights how fundamental literacy is to personal growth, social connection and participation in our communities.
Council libraries are getting involved in the national event with storytime sessions, workshops, author talks, tech help and more, all designed to celebrate literacy, build skills and bring people together.
