Discover what’s happening in your local library

10 September 2025
Council libraries across South Australia are hosting a variety of events this month that showcase authors, spark conversations and invite people of all ages to take part.

Libraries are more than just bookshelves. They’re community spaces where stories come alive, connections are made and voices are celebrated.

Now that spring has sprung, councils are delivering a dynamic mix of events - from author talks and storytelling sessions to literacy workshops and digital learning programs.

These free, inclusive activities strengthen community connection and spark lifelong learning right where you live.

We have curated a list of some council-run events happening near you.
