A Day in the Gully brings big-name music and community spirit to Civic Park
Set beneath the gum trees, the festival will see the much-loved Civic Park host a full-day celebration of live music, good food and easy summer vibes. Residents can roll out a picnic rug, dance in front of the stage, or spend the afternoon relaxing with friends in the shade.
A Day in the Gully features an impressive line-up of national headliners and emerging artists, including Ball Park Music, Chet Faker, Pete Murray, Mallrat, The Living End, Teenage Joans and The Tullamarines. The program promises a steady stream of live performances that will keep the crowd moving the time gates open at 2pm until the last act takes a bow at 11pm.
Alongside the music, explore a wide selection of food trucks serving festival favourites and beverages including wine, beer and cocktails from local producers. Families will find plenty of space to unwind, while music lovers can position themselves close to the stage to soak up the atmosphere.
City of Tea Tree Gully Mayor Marijka Ryan said the festival showcases the best of Australian music while creating a new opportunity for the community to connect.
“It will be a great chance to celebrate Australian live music and have some fun,” Mayor Ryan said. “I’m really looking forward to seeing everyone at Civic Park having an amazing time.”
A Day in the Gully marks a new chapter in the council’s events program, bringing a major entertainment offering to a local park that already serves as a gathering place for families, neighbours and visitors.
