Tastes of our Town serves up a month of food and culture

Food, culture and community will come together this July as Campbelltown City Council's Tastes of our Town festival returns with a month-long celebration of the area's diverse culinary scene.

The popular festival showcases the rich mix of cultures that make Campbelltown unique, with local restaurants, cafés and takeaway venues opening their doors to special events, exclusive menus and cultural experiences.

The festival highlights the people, stories and traditions behind the food while supporting local businesses and bringing the community together.

Among the highlights is Café Va Bene, where visitors can enjoy food specials alongside live entertainment, family activities and interactive experiences including pizza making and face painting.

Vietnamese restaurant Freshly Pho will also feature as part of the festival, offering guests the chance to enjoy authentic cuisine while experiencing cultural performances in a welcoming community atmosphere.

For those interested in learning new skills, Campbelltown Library will host a fermentation workshop where participants can discover the art of making sauerkraut and kimchi while learning about traditional food preservation techniques.

Over the month, visitors can enjoy a variety of experiences that celebrate the many cultures represented within the Campbelltown community. Live music, entertainment, family-friendly activities and opportunities to connect with local business owners add to the festival atmosphere.

Tastes of our Town have become a popular fixture on the local events calendar, encouraging people to explore new cuisines, support local businesses and discover hidden gems throughout the city.

Whether you're looking to try a new dish, revisit a favourite restaurant or enjoy a day out with family and friends, Tastes of our Town offers something for every appetite.
