New Found Sound returns to Port Adelaide this weekend
The all-ages festival transforms the precinct into a vibrant music hub, showcasing more than 40 emerging South Australian artists across 10 venues.
Now in its third year, New Found Sound continues to build momentum as one of the state’s standout grassroots music events. From indie rock and folk to jazz, electronic, hip hop and punk, the diverse program offers something for every music lover.
Live performances will take place across iconic Port Adelaide locations including Pirate Life Brewing, the South Australian Maritime Museum, Waterside Workers Hall, Lighthouse Wharf and even aboard the City of Adelaide Clipper Ship.
Music begins from 5:00 pm, giving festival-goers the chance to explore Port Adelaide’s laneways, venues and waterfront while enjoying live performances with local food and drinks.
The free event also supports local artists, activates local businesses and celebrates Port Adelaide as a thriving creative destination.
New Found Sound is delivered by the City of Port Adelaide Enfield in partnership with the South Australian Government’s Music Development Office and media partner The Note.
