Coastal Sounds returns this June long weekend

5 June 2026
Adelaide’s western beaches will come alive with music, art and family fun when Coastal Sounds returns on Sunday 7 June 2026.

The free festival will transform 13 kilometres of coastline into a trail of live entertainment, stretching across 12 locations from West Beach to Semaphore.

Presented by the City of Charles Sturt in partnership with the City of Port Adelaide Enfield, Coastal Sounds invites the community to explore the coast while enjoying live music, dance, workshops, art experiences and activities for all ages.

Running from 10:00 am until late, the event features more than 30 performances from South Australian and international artists. Festivalgoers can catch performances from acts including Anya Anastasia, Baby Mo, Max Savage, Nahlla, Tom West, The Dainty Morsels and Huge Beat, alongside international performers Volya Ukrainian Cossack Dancers, Alain Valodze and Zhao Liang.

Families can also enjoy a packed lineup of free children’s activities including a baby dinosaur petting zoo, glitter tattoos, nature play experiences, instrument-making workshops and the popular Monski Mouse DJ Set.

Visitors are encouraged to wander between beachside stages, settle in at their favourite coastal spot or follow the full music trail along the shoreline. Several indoor venues, including Grange Surf Life Saving Club and Semaphore Workers Club will continue the entertainment into the evening.

Coastal Sounds continues to grow as a major community event, celebrating local creativity, supporting artists and encouraging people to experience Adelaide’s coastline in a new way.
