Co-funded by the City of Salisbury and State Government, the $29.9 million upgraded facility will officially open its doors on Monday 24 June. The facility will feature two indoor pools, a health club, 50-metre outdoor pool, splash pad and waterplay area, and a triple water slide tower.

It is one of the most significant projects undertaken by the local council in recent years.

The exclusive foundation membership  give holders unlimited access to the health club, aquatic facilities, group fitness classes and functional training sessions.

Memberships are selling quick and can still be snapped up on the Salisbury Aquatic Centre website.

BlueFit CEO Todd McHardy, whose company will manage the centre, said his team are looking forward to delivering a diverse range of health, fitness and aquatic programs, and is excited by the opportunity to position the Salisbury Aquatic Centre as the premier leisure facility in the area.

The centre is tracking toward practical completion and handover to BlueFit in early May, with the indoor pools recently filled, new car park, driveway and landscaping nearing completion, and final touches currently being added to the outdoor pool areas, waterplay features and 10-metre high water slides.
