Two Wells Town Centre set to transform community

9 October 2024
The transformation of Two Wells continues, as a major supermarket retailer is announced for the $150 million redevelopment of the town centre.

Set to enhance community life, the multi-million-dollar project, led by the Adelaide Plains Council, will revitalise the heart of the town, creating a welcoming space for residents and visitors to gather, shop, and participate in local events.

South Australian owned Drakes Supermarkets has been named as the flagship grocery retailer for the precinct, which will be one of the company’s largest stores employing up to 200 people.

The town centre redevelopment, which forms part of the broader Two Wells Main Street Upgrade, will include a mix of retail, healthcare, commercial and community facilities, along with seating areas, landscaped gardens, shaded spaces, and improved pedestrian access.

Construction of the project is set to begin in late 2025.

Two Wells is one of South Australia’s fastest growing areas for residential growth and this new development will help to provide important amenities for local residents and foster a sense of community.
