Barossa Council is a local government area in the Barossa Valley in South Australia. Located on the lands of the Ngadjuri, Kaurna and Peramangk people, the council area covers 912 km2, and has a population of over 25,000 people.

The council offers a range of services and facilities, including libraries, camping sites, information centres, playgrounds, galleries, parks, swimming pools, halls, and community centres. The Barossa Valley is renowned for its fresh produce and artisan foods, hot air balloon rides and scenic hiking trails.

Visitors can drive the Barossa Heritage Trail, explore the region’s rich history and heritage by visiting the many wineries, museums, and galleries along the way and enjoy farm-fresh produce and artisan foods at the local farmers’ markets.

Other attractions include strolling the Angaston Heritage Walk, signing up for a cooking class, and indulging in some of the region’s finest chocolates and confectionery at the Barossa Valley Chocolate Company in Tanunda.
